About Eve

Hello, I'm Eve.

I'm an accredited therapist, educator and writer with a particular interest in neurodiversity, adult children of alcoholics (ACoA), relationships, adaptation, and the quieter patterns that shape how we move through the world.

Alongside my professional training, my work is also deeply informed by lived experience as a late-diagnosed autistic woman, an adult child of an alcoholic, and someone living with non-visible disabilities. Together, these experiences have shaped not only the way I work, but the questions I ask, the things I notice, and the way I seek to understand people.

I've always been fascinated by human behaviour. Long before I studied psychology, I found myself wondering why people respond so differently to life's experiences, and why some patterns seem to stay with us for years.

As I trained and later built my therapy practice, those questions only deepened. Working alongside hundreds of clients has continually reinforced my belief that many struggles begin to make more sense when we have the right language, context and understanding around them.

Because every person is different, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy or learning. Whether I'm working with someone in therapy, creating educational resources or delivering training, my aim is always the same: to offer thoughtful, compassionate support that helps people better understand themselves and each other.

Why this work matters

Although awareness of mental health has grown enormously, I believe many experiences are still overlooked or misunderstood. Some people spend years trying to make sense of patterns that no one has ever helped them name.

Through therapy, learning, writing and conversation, I hope to make those experiences more visible and easier to understand - for individuals, families and professionals alike.

Whether I'm supporting someone one-to-one, developing a Foundation Guide, creating CPD training or recording a podcast, I'm always working towards the same goal: helping people feel less alone and better understood.

Beyond the therapy room

I enjoy sharing ideas through articles, podcasts, social media and educational resources, creating opportunities for thoughtful conversations that extend beyond the therapy room.

I'm especially passionate about making complex ideas feel accessible, practical and human, so that people can recognise themselves - or those they care about - with greater clarity and compassion.

Away from work

Away from work, life is generally much quieter.

Reading is one of my favourite ways to learn and unwind, and I'm happiest when I'm outdoors in nature or spending time with my family. Living with chronic health conditions has also taught me the importance of pacing myself and protecting my energy - something that continues to shape both my life and the way I work.

And there's usually a cat somewhere nearby, convinced they're helping.
